The Stag Bothy was built back in 1905 as a hunting lodge for clients of Alvie estate.  We use it as accommodation for our clients during the winter months and for corporate clients.  The Stag bothy is basic but fits in well with our ethos.

Access is via a remote estate track, through a number of locked gates.

Set amongst the original Caledonian Pine forest the stag bothy can sleep upwards of 20 individuals. The building is built on stilts and has the following features;

• 2 Bedrooms
• Kitchen
• Living Room
• Viewing platform/balcony
• Multi-fuel stove

The Bothy has no running water (a stream runs to the side of the building) and no electricity (candles and head torches) but in our opinion and that of our clients it’s has a perfect sense of isolation.
